The branch participated in the V Argentine Congress on Obesity in Buenos Aires, where it sponsored speakers and an exhibit. Both local Argentinean guest US speakers made presentations at this conference in the topics of Benefits of Functional Foods in Obesity and Genetics, Nutrition and Obesity.
